Wroclaw Airport
Wroclaw, Poland

A new terminal is to be added to Breslau Airport. Cost considerations led to a single-floor without passenger bridges being envisaged. A capacity of 2 million passengers a year is planned for the first building phase, and 7 million for the extension.
The terminal concept with its compact frame ensures quicker circulation for passengers and a clear layout for the interior. Externally the impressive reception hall with its characteristic V-shaped supports and the two-story glass facade gives Breslau Airport an unmistakable look.
The reception hall contains all the land-side facilities, such as check in, rental units for stores, eating places, car rental, travel agents etc. Additional amenities such as a conference centre, restaurant with observation deck and airport management are located on an easily accessible gallery level.
